In this 2-minute video, Piyush (LPU graduate, Insane Piyush on YouTube) shows the full LPUNEST 2027 application process and exactly where to enter coupon code LPUDFZ278.

Who Should Use This Code?

Coupon code LPUDFZ278 is for anyone filling the LPUNEST 2027 application for 2027–28 admission, including:

• Class 12 students (appearing or passed) applying for B.Tech, BBA, B.Des, Law, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Hotel Management, Sciences or other UG programmes.
• Graduates and final-year students applying for MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc and other PG programmes.
• JEE Main and CUET candidates who also want to give LPUNEST as a backup and a second shot at a scholarship. See LPUNEST vs JEE Main vs CUET.
• Parents filling the form on behalf of their child — the code works the same way.
• International and NRI students apply through LPU's separate international admissions process, which has its own fees. Check there whether a coupon field is offered before you rely on this code.

How to Use the Coupon Code: Step by Step

1. Open the official LPU admission portal. Use the official site, lpu.in, or the apply link on this page. Avoid look-alike sites.
2. Register with your name, email ID and mobile number, and verify the OTP.
3. Choose LPUNEST 2027 and your programme, then fill in your personal and academic details.
4. Go to the payment page and find the coupon / discount code field.
5. Type LPUDFZ278 in capital letters, with no spaces, and click Apply.
6. Check the amount. The fee shown should drop by 20% before you pay — about ₹800 for the soft kit and ₹1,200 for the printed kit.
7. Pay and save your receipt. Then book your exam slot when slot booking opens on 10 December 2026 — slot booking guide.

What Happens After You Apply the Code

Once LPUDFZ278 is accepted, the rest of the process is the same as for everyone else. Here is what to expect, in order:

1. The fee drops on screen. The payment page shows the reduced amount before you pay. If it still shows the full fee, the code has not been applied yet.
2. You pay and get a confirmation. Keep the payment receipt and the confirmation email or SMS from LPU. You will need your application number later.
3. You get your LPUNEST kit. The soft-copy kit is available online; the printed kit is posted to you if you chose it.
4. You book your exam slot. Slot booking opens on 10 December 2026. You pick home-based (remotely proctored) or test-centre mode and a date.
5. You take LPUNEST and get your result. Your score decides your scholarship category. The coupon has no effect on this step.

When Should You Apply?

The 20% discount is the same on the first day of the cycle and the last. What changes with timing is everything around it:

• Earlier means more exam dates to choose from. The home-based exam runs from 10 January to 5 February 2027 and popular dates fill first.
• Phase 1 closes on 15 January 2027. That is the last date to apply and book a slot in the first phase. LPU may open later phases, but you cannot count on it.
• Codes are tied to a cycle. A code listed for 2027 is meant for the 2027 application. Apply in the same cycle the code is listed for, and check the reduced amount before paying.

All dates are in the LPUNEST 2027 exam date guide.

Before You Pay: 5-Point Checklist

1. You're on the official LPU portal, not a copy site.
2. You selected LPUNEST 2027, not an older session.
3. The code reads exactly LPUDFZ278 — no space before or after.
4. The discounted amount is visible before you click pay.
5. Your programme, name and contact details are correct — they appear on your admit card.

Where LPUDFZ278 Is Listed

The same code, LPUDFZ278, is shared everywhere Piyush (Insane Piyush) publishes LPU admission content, so you can cross-check it:

• This website — on every page of LPUNEST Guide.
• The Insane Piyush YouTube channel — in the description of LPUNEST and LPU videos.
• Instagram — @insanepiyush_careers.
• Piyush's answers about LPUNEST on Quora.

Seeing a different code somewhere else? That's normal — here's why every LPUNEST coupon code is different.

Use the 2027 Code, Not Last Year's

Codes from older cycles usually stop working when a new session opens. Many sites still show old codes. LPUDFZ278 is listed for the 2027 cycle. If it doesn't apply, see coupon code not working — fixes.

How to Spot a Fake or Expired Coupon Code

A genuine LPUNEST coupon code is free, short, and applied on LPU's own payment page. Be careful if you see any of these:

• Someone asks you to pay for the code. No real coupon code costs money. Never pay a person, a UPI ID or a "consultant" to get one.
• You are asked to pay outside LPU's portal. The fee is paid only on LPU's admission portal. A payment link on WhatsApp or a personal account is a red flag.
• The offer sounds too big. Promises like "free admission", "100% off" or a "guaranteed scholarship" are not what a coupon code does. It only reduces the application fee.
• The code is from an older year. Pages that still show a 2025 or 2026 code are out of date. Make sure the page says 2027.
• The amount doesn't change. If the payment page shows the full fee after you click Apply, the code isn't working. Don't pay expecting a refund later; check the fixes for a code that won't apply first.
