LPUNEST 2027 Slot Booking: Date, Step-by-Step Process & Admit Card

LPUNEST 2027 slot booking opens on 10 December 2026. Slot booking is the step where you choose how (home or test centre), when and where you'll take the exam — and it's also what generates your admit card. Here's the full process, written by an LPU alumnus.

LPUNEST 2027 slot booking dates (B.Tech, Phase 1)

Dates as reported by Careers360. Dates for later phases are yet to be announced. Always confirm on lpu.in.

Before you book: checklist

• Your application must be complete and the fee paid. Slot booking happens inside your LPUNEST candidate login, after registration. If you haven't applied yet, use coupon code LPUDFZ278 for 20% off the fee — here's how.
• Keep your login ready — the email ID and password you registered with.
• Know your board exam / pre-board schedule so your LPUNEST slot doesn't clash.
• For the home exam: a laptop or desktop with a webcam, microphone and stable internet.

How to book your LPUNEST slot

1. Log in to the LPUNEST candidate portal with your registered email ID and password.
2. Open the slot booking section.
3. Choose your exam mode: remotely proctored (from home) or test-centre based.
4. For a centre exam, pick your test centre city. Then pick your exam date and time slot.
5. Check everything once and confirm / save your booking.
6. Download your admit card and save it on your phone and laptop.

Slot booking is online only — there's no offline booking.

Home or test centre: which slot to pick?

• Home (remotely proctored): opens earlier (from 10 January 2027) and you choose your own time. Best if your laptop, webcam and internet are reliable. Read the home exam rules first — most disqualifications happen because of the setup, not the questions.
• Test centre: runs from 20 January 2027. Pick this if your internet is unreliable or you don't have a webcam laptop.
• Early or late? An early slot gets your score sooner, so you enter counselling early. A later slot gives more prep time — but the Phase 1 booking deadline is still 15 January 2027.

Admit card after slot booking

Your LPUNEST admit card is generated online once your slot is booked. Download it from the portal and check your name, programme, exam mode, date and time. Keep it safe until counselling and admission are complete.

Common slot booking mistakes

• Waiting till the last week — popular dates and centres fill up first.
• Picking home mode without testing your setup — test webcam, mic and internet a day before.
• Clashing with board practicals or pre-boards — check your school calendar before confirming.
• Not saving the admit card — download it immediately after booking.
