How the LPU scholarship is calculated
LPU gives the LPUNEST scholarship as a percentage of the programme fee for each semester. On the B.Tech CSE programme page, the categories are:

The formula is simple: fee after scholarship = programme fee × (100 − scholarship %) ÷ 100. For example, on a fee of ₹1,00,000 per semester with 40% scholarship you pay ₹60,000 per semester, which is ₹4,80,000 over 8 semesters instead of ₹8,00,000.
